This Privacy Policy explains how The Nar Grill (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a restaurant at 601 W 12 Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071, handles information when you visit thenargrill.com (the “Site”). We keep this simple because the Site is simple.

Information we collect

Information you give us. The Site does not have account sign-ups, login pages, or forms that store your details. If you call us, email us, or message us on social media to ask a question, place a phone order, or request a catering quote, we receive whatever you share, such as your name, phone number, email address, event date, headcount, and location. We use it only to respond to you and fulfill your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and date and time. We use this only to keep the Site running securely and to troubleshoot problems.

Cookies and analytics. The Site does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy first.

Online ordering and delivery

When you tap Order Online, DoorDash, or Uber Eats, you leave our Site and use a service run by a separate company (Toast, DoorDash, or Uber). Those companies collect your name, contact details, delivery address, and payment information under their own privacy policies, not this one. We receive the details of your order from them so we can prepare it. We do not collect or store your payment card information on this Site.

Third-party content on the Site

• Google Maps. Our Location page and homepage embed a Google map. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and other browser information and may set its own cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google, which means your browser requests them from Google’s servers and your IP address is visible to Google.
• Social media. Links to our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy practices.

How we use and share information

We use the information described above to respond to you, prepare and deliver orders, quote and book catering, operate and secure the Site, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as our ordering platform and web host), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

How long we keep it

We keep emails, messages, and catering inquiries only as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records, and then delete them. Order records held by our ordering platform are kept under that platform’s policies and applicable tax and accounting rules.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@thenargrill.com or calling (248) 291-3300. You can also use your browser settings to block cookies or limit what third-party embeds can load. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights; we will honor valid requests as required by the law that applies to you.

Children’s privacy

The Site is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
